Abstract

Music functions as most powerful self-expression in children. Self-expression in music activity is based on interactions between partners in a group and individually different intentions to use acquired musical skills.
Psychological factors, including self-affirmation in groups, trial and error in expression of musical content, accomplishment and resulting satisfactory, are likely to generate a pleasure of musical performances, which in turn would develop the ability to express oneself in music.
