本稿の目的は，中国地方に位置するA県B市にて，2016年に実施した「夏休み・にほんご教室（仮称）」にて，アクション・リサーチの方法に基づき，「外国につながる子ども」に対する学習の権利保障に取り組むにあたって立ち現れる「五つの壁」による「置き去り」の実態，特に「第4 の壁」と「第5 の壁」による「置き去り」の実態を明らかにすることである。並びに，この実態の改善に取り組むための課題を論じることである。「外国につながる子ども」が言葉を学習するにあたって起きうる困難に気を配り，この際必要とされる配慮と支援を講ずるために必要とされるのは，まず，権利の保障，とりわけ学習機会の平等な保障のあり方を考え直すことである。二つめとして，学校が「外国につながる子ども」の家庭環境・生活環境だけでなく，言語環境も把握することである。

In 2016, “Culturally Linguistically Diverse Children” participated in the “Japanese language learning during Summer Vacation” in B City, A Prefecture, located in the Chugoku region. This paper conducted action research in the class to clarify the causes that hinder the right to education for “Culturally Linguistically Diverse Children”. This paper argued that it was necessary to reconsider the guarantee of rights, especially the equal guarantee of learning opportunities. In addition, it is necessary for schools to understand not only the home environment and living environment but also the language environment of “Culturally Linguistically Diverse Children”.
