本研究の目的は、対人コミュニケーション能力（コンピテンス）・スキルとこれに関連する側面に関する測定尺度を開発・作成したわが国の先行研究を総覧することであった。そして、開発・作成された尺度の特徴を13の視点から分析的に展望し、紹介した。さらに、開発・作成された測定尺度の利用価値を評価することによって、測定尺度を選別した。ある程度以上利用価値の認められる尺度に基づいて、当該研究領域の現状と特徴を明らかにした。最後に、大学生の対人コミュニケーション能力・スキルを多面的に測定するために利用可能な尺度を選別し、提案した。

The purpose of this study was to survey the past studies in Japan which developed the measurement scales of in terpersonal communication competence and skills. Thi s study analytically reviewed and introduced characteristi cs o f the developed scales from thirteen viewpoints. The scales were sorted out by evaluating availability of the developed scales. In addition, byusing the good available scales, the present condi ti on and feature of the field of the study on interpersona l co mmunication competence and skil ls scales was showed. Finally, the available scales for manysidedly measuring interper s onal communication compe tence and skills among uni v ersity students were chos en and proposed.
