This paper explores “ Why is island’s children a higher strength than ordinary?”Importantly, the
children are participating in club activities. Because of the increased opportunities for exercise,
they seem to lead to better health.
However, we have to consider “why do children in the island to　participate in club activities?”
This is a question of this paper.
We examined two cases.
In the case of the athletic festival, a modern physical　education is intended　for the modernization（ enforcement） of the body. 　　
However, athletic festival changed from
the event which emphasis on competition/collective activity to the festival which people participant.
Then, in the case of the bloomers, ie., sports wear for women, this costume was a symbol of female emancipation. But then, People had a positive / negative reaction to this costume. And, eventually, it sees as “a symbol of female oppression”.
This paper clarifies that participation and institution are complex intertwined and coordinated.
We need to redefine the opportunity to exercise including all club activities by analyzing the relationship between participation and institution.
