Chinese economic society is expanding by a very high speed to build a big business in the internationaltrade being called as “factory in the world”. The society subsequently discharges a large volume of consumption wastes in the all regions of China.
　The authors analyzed the data on consumption wastes in Chinese cities by region and on gross regional product presented in “China Statical Yearbook” published by China Ststical Press. Most of the wastes collected and transported from Chinese cities should be disposed securely through the useful treatment methods to construct environmentally concerned society forming a sustainable development.
This article deals with the discharged amounts and the treament methods of the consumption waste in Chinese cities by region.
