It is reported that "eye-rest white" as it is called is a new whiteness that gives less fatigue to the eye. Having taken into account the second research, 8 uniforms were made, six of which were made of 6 different shades of "eye-rest white", and 2 of which were made of usual light colored cloth. These 8 colored but similar designed uniforms were worn by the working nurses and an enquete was collected both from the patients and the nurses themselves in reference to their preference in color and the comparison with the ordinary white uniforms. The result was that many people have much attachment to the usual white uniforms. The patients liked pistachio white (27.4%) , pinky white (26.0%) and pearl white (20.6%), and the nurses preferred pistachio white (35. 7%) and cool white (32. 9%).
