It is general for young people to have proficiency in operating wordprocessor today. Aquisition of higher grade in a grading test for wordprocessor helpes students become financially independent. And their effort to pass the certificate examination helps them gain confidence. Students become mentally independent through it. For the reason given above, I think students should acquire a grading test for wordprocessor as much as they can (if it is possible). Then, to inquire how much they understand teachrs principle for a grading test for wordprocessor, I sent out a questionnaire as mows. 1 The population of the students who take a grading test for wordprocessor test and those who passed it. 2 Understanding of necessity of a grading test for wordprocessor. 3 Understanding between employment test and a grading test for wordprocessor. 4 consciousness of leaning environment to aquire a grading test for wordprocessor. The following results were obtained: Many students think a grading test for wordprocessor helps them get a job and do a good job. They are aware of practical importance of it. But, I think they are not aware of mental importance, becouse few students answered that hard study for a grading test for wordprocessor makes them become self-confident. Thus, I think it is necessary for teachers to promote students understanding of such a mental value of a grading test for wordprocessor.
