Recently, Textbook Authorization System in Russian Federation was reformed. When we reviewed at new standards
on textbook screening, we can point a few things out about that character; it is included education content that
prompting independent-minded (active) learning to learner, and developing balanced patriotism and cross-cultural
understanding.
Russian Academy of Education (RAE) is playing the central role in this authorization system. However, Scientific
Council about Textbook Authorization, that delegated decision-making authority for this authorizing, is made up of
politically charged members. Due to that, someone provide a critique of new authorization system about neutrality or equitability.
For the terms outlined above, RAE will be thought of as agency promoting government decision.
