Abstract

In 1998, the Course of Study was revised in response to the first report of the Central Education Council, Recommendation and Improvement Policy of the Curriculum Council.
 This revision is based on the training of [ability to live] in [clearance], carefully selecting the contents of learning, thinking, education by themselves, thoroughly mastering basic things, educating each person We promote the essence and education of individuals rich in personality, such as ability to do, and aim to create robust body.
Among them, we believe that establishing “comprehensive learning time” to promote cross-cutting/comprehensive guidance is a reform that will lead to a change in Japanese view of education.
 Based on the information obtained by Seimi who was engaged in the school education guidance service at the time as a leader of the Hiroshima City Board of Education, the circumstances surrounding “time of Integrated Study”, the circumstances of the establishment, the situation before and after the establishment, Practice of previous research schools, etc. are summarized.
