This study aims to clarify the cognitive characteristics of the urban landscape
image held by adolescent youths.
Therefore, we analyzed short sentences which college students described
about urban landscape images,
objects of beautiful scenery and their reasons, by text mining.
The main results obtained are shown below. (1) Habitation history affects urban landscape image,
(2)but images of history, tradition, etc. are not recognized as urban landscape images.
(3) It isnecessary to learn community at institution of higher educations.
This education teaches adolescent youths to love their home district, form the identity of the town.
(4) Finally some knowledge about the procedure of correspondence analysis could be shown.
