This paper examined the purpose and function of accounting in the present age, especially in the field of financial accounting.
In particular, this study looked at accounting from a cultural, social, and information perspective to explore the importance of accounting. As a result,
accounting is required to have a social significance as a language necessary for companies to continuously fulfill their social responsibilities, specifically accounting that contributes to dialogue between companies and stakeholders. And that there is a new accounting role here.
