The purpose of this study is to investigate mother's anxiety of child-rearing and their needs for child-rearing support through a questionnaire survey. Further, the impression of child-rearing that high school students have was also examined, and compared their impression with mother's anxiety of child-rearing. As a result, we have found that mothers feel physical and mental fatigue rather than loneliness during child-rearing. On the other hand, high school students think that mothers have more feeling of loneliness than physical and mental fatigue. There was a dissociation between the real feeling of mothers and the impression of high school students. Moreover, there was a big difference between mother's demand and available service in terms of being free from child-rearing and refreshing. Mothers who are physically and mentally exhausted from child-rearing are looking for "a place to take care of their children" and "a time to forget about childrearing".Therefore, it has to be necessary to provide human resources and places to provide such support, and the environment where mothers can use such services must be arranged.
