This paper aims critically considering about "Active Learning" and "Proactive, Interactive and Authentic learning" through the policy process for higher education and revision of Courses of Study and theory of educational methods.
Rise of "Active Learning" stemming from reform of higher education in the 2010s has becoming a significant issue for revision of Courses of Study. After all, "Active Learning" positioned Course of Study as "Proactive, Interactive and Authentic learning".
We had referred to 3 theory for seeing "Active Learning" and "Proactive, Interactive and Authentic learning" as the teacher : "agentic learning" theory by Shinichi Mizokami, "The Rediscover of Teaching" by Gert J. J. Biesta, and "Encounter and Tasting to the world" theory by Takehiko Kumashiro. As a result, "Agency" of learner has brought by the "outsides", for example teacher.
It is the key point that regaining "Teaching" to teacher, at the occasion of overcoming passive "Active Learning" and "Proactive, Interactive and Authentic learning".
