As stated at the start, the "Environment" in a kindergarten can be largely divided into two. One is the kindergarten environment in which children spend a few hours a day with many people unlike their homes. This environment must meet many criteria, including matching the children's stage of development, ensuring the children's soundness, and being a place where the children can be with peace of mind. Only when these conditions are met and there are trustworthy teachers, are children able to grow soundly, and children are made aware that the kindergarten is a place where they can have peace of mind. Only when this daily life environment is ensured does the other "Environment" come to have meaning.
That is to say, the true "Environment", wherein children can cultivate plants, interact with nature, and learn about the importance of life, comes to have meaning. To bring meaning to this "Environment", the teaching skills of faculty of the kindergarten are tested.
In teaching those teaching skills in a training facility, it is important not to view only "Environment" as a single class, but to make students firmly aware that it is involved in various other subjects. The caliber of the training facility faculty is tested by how they can give students many skills and send them out into the workplace of the kindergarten.
The recent revision is a teaching method for the childcare content of "Environment" putting forward many issues.
