It can be said that there are two "environments" in a kindergarten: the daily life environment in which the children go about their daily lives, and the academic field of "Environment". However, the two are not unrelated, and are not to be thought of separately.
Only once it is deemed that the first one, the daily life environment in which the children spend their daily lives, is ensured in a satisfactory manner, that is to say, soundness, safety, cleanliness, and the like are provided and the children can live comfortably, does the second environment, the so-called academic field of "Environment", come to hold meaning.
Furthermore, when explaining content on this academic field of "Environment" to children or doing activities such as cultivating plants together, it is necessary to thoroughly understand the development of children.
Learning at a teacher training facility is important for making students understand this point. The field of "Environment" is not established just by understanding the content of that field, but is established by having an understanding of other subjects as well. It is necessary to make students thoroughly understand this. The relationship with the development of children is particularly significant. The competency of faculty at training facilities is tested by how they make students learn this point at the training facility.
It is also believed to be particularly important to make students sufficiently understand that the two environments comprising the daily life environment in which the children go about daily life and this academic field of "Environment" always work together like two wheels of a bicycle.
