A new dolabellane diterpenoid, (+)-acetoxyodontoschismenol, displaying antifungal properties, has been isolated from the liverwort Odontoschisma denudatum, and its structure, including the absolute configuration, has been determined as (1R,6R,11R,12S)-6-acetoxy-12-hydroxydolabella-3E,7E-diene on the basis of the chemical and spectroscopic evidence. |
