We study disparities among provinces in China based on the data from urban and rural regions. We point out that the disparities among economically developed 8 blocks are larger than those among economically developing 23 blocks, and the disparities of annual income of per person among provinces are almost constant斤0m 1999 to 2004. The fixed assets in education to the rural region are far less than those to the urban region and we recommend that the Chinese government should promote the educational industry in the inland blocks.
