This paper is a record of practical childcare support activities conducted in the Eary Childhood Care and Education Course of a college. In today's society of declining birth rate, colleges and universities can make a major social contribution by putting their (human and material) social resources into childcare support activities. Meanwhile, estabilishing a sysem that fosters competent teachers and carers is essential. In 2008, students in Early Childhood Education Faculty participated in three childcare support activities with three more planned for the 2009 academic year (currently, two completed).
This paper presents a record of these five activities and focuses on problem-solving for future activities.
