Amazing Ways of Using Salt in Cultivation and Processing of Agricultural or Aquatic Products (III)
To examine unfamiliar functions of using salt, some amazing ways of using salt in the area of cultivation and processing of agricultural or aquatic products have been closely studied in this paper. In the study, the following cases are closely examined. 1. Salt can be used to help growth of rice seedlings and to raise lotus rhizomes. And it can be used to improve the taste of cooked rice. 2. Salt can be used to cultivate some freshwater fish, like carps and goldfish, and also be mixed in the feeding food. 3. Salt can be used to keep freshness of seafood, like crabs and trepangs. 4. Salted water can be used to extract salt from salted fish, like salted roes of herrings and salted jellyfish. 5. Salt can be used for decorative purposes in cooking some seafood, like sea breams, crabs and clams. 6. Salt can be used to heighten the colors of some seafood products like, smoked yellowtails and salted roes of salmons.
