This study focuses on the process from the drama to the libretto, study of the original drama, musical
analysis, and the personalities of the characters in this opera. The focus of this study is to analyze the
differences between the original drama composed by Georges Bernanos and the libretto by Francis
Poulenc.
The composer's intentions expressed in the work are also discussed in this study, the composer's
work is analyzed and the process of preparing for the actual performance is detailed in this study.The
auther played the role of Mere Marie.
