The purpose of this study is to analyze the phenomena of color hearing and the character of the color hearer, using their life histories and personality tests, Rorschach Test, MMPI and Y-G Test. The subjects were two women students from a women's junior college that were selected from the last study. The main results were as follows: 1) They could perceive the phenomena of color hearing in short music and sound, but not in single tones. 2) They could not perceive the phenomena at any time, they reported, could only perceive the phenomena when they gave body and mind to the music. Mrs. Shizukuishi (1973) reported the same result, but Prof. Naito (1936) reported the opposite. 3) They reported that the experience of color hearing was something like looking in their minds with closed eyes, and there was the perception of distance and three-dimensional perception. 4) From the analysis of the tests and their life histories, common characteristics found in the two subjects were as follows: remembrance of emotional experiences impressed on them in childhood; having peace of mind in the mental world for escaping from actual society; and having sensitivity and a rich imagination.
