Abstract

I have focused on the relationship between the nutrition teacher of A elementary school which promotes food education of Hiroshima Prefecture and other teachers. I have also researched on the nutrition teacher, other teachers and school children about the nutrition teacher’s consciousness toward food education, other teachers’ recognition to the nutrition teacher and children’s capacity for living. I have considered the concreteness of“ Synthetic capacity of management" of the nutrition teacher in reality of food education.
The nutrition teacher of A elementary school tries to go to the classroom during the school lunch time to keep in close contact with other teachers, memorize children’s names as many as possible to keep them under control, suggest the teaching plans and convey the classroom teachers the expecting results. The nutrition teacher also tries to communicate with other teachers working together to prepare various events and to guide children’s going to school and going home.
Other teachers became to feel close to the nutrition teacher because they can talk with her on children and she goes to the classroom to guide them in the school lunch time. Above all, however, they can easily consult on food education and have the common high aim to give the better lessons; therefore, they felt close to her as the same teachers. By doing food education from the different point of view, the nutrition teacher has the belief that it is important to widen and deepen the children’s knowledge on food. She also suggests food education in various subjects, and puts her principles into practice by the team teaching with the classroom teachers as the whole school education.
In this way the nutrition teacher has built good relationship with other teachers by the use of her“ Synthetic capacity of management" as an educator and they have guided the school children to feel high one another.
As the result of this we can see the school children’s capacity for life.
