本研究は，地域高齢者の認知的フレイルと身体的フレイルに影響する要因を明らかにし，認知的フレイルに特徴的な要因について検討した。対象は，住民アンケートに回答した60歳以上の高齢者1,022名とした。対象を非フレイル，認知的フレイル，身体的フレイルに分け，運動習慣や食事摂取，地域活動，睡眠などの影響を分析した。二項ロジスティック回帰分析により，認知的フレイルは運動習慣と地域活動への参加がない場合に影響を受けた。特に，地域活動への参加は認知的フレイルに特異的であった。地域高齢者の認知的フレイルを予防・改善するためには，運動の習慣化とともに地域活動へ参加を促すための支援が必要である可能性がある。

This study aimed to examine the factors affecting cognitive and physical frailty in community−dwelling older adults and to clarify the factors characteristic of cognitive frailty. The subjects were 1,022 community−dwelling older adults aged 60 and older who responded to a self−administered questionnaire. We analyzed the effects of exercise habits, dietary intake, community activities, sleep, etc. using the frailty screening index. Binominal logistic analysis showed that cognitive frailty was significantly associated with no exercise habit and no participation in community activity. Participation in community activities did not affect physical frailty though it was a specific factor to cognitive frailty. In order to prevent or improve cognitive frailty in older adults, it might be necessary to have exercise habits and to encourage participation in community activities.
