Abstract

Heparin and low molecular weight heparin have been standard as anticoagulant on emodialysis ,to inhibit the blood coagulation in the blood circuit. Heparin is low price and good anticoagulant. But heparin itself has no effect of anticoagulant, it functions as an anticoagulant by inducing a comformational change in the structure of antithrombin(AT) .We tested the effect of heparins on AT, by making artificial deficiency AT in plasma by mean of immunological methods. The result of the experiment was that heparin had no effect when AT ability is lower than 60%. We researched the effect of heparin by activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT). Heparin turned out to be effective 0 to 1.0U/ml ,it was impossible to measure APTT over 1.0U/ml. LMW-heparin was possible to measure APTT 0 to 1.5U/ml. These results lead to the conclusion that we should be in control of AT of patients with hemodialysis. So that we will be able to treatment patients quickly ,when they have some blood coagulation matter on the hemodialysis.
