Abstract: In 1933, Rampo Edogawa's paper entitled, "Secret Passion of J. A. Symonds" appeared as a series in the journal named "Psychoanalysis," published by Tokyo Psychoanalysis Science Research Center, supervised by Kenji Otsuki. The paper was not finished after all. This study examined its fourth issue. First, the progress of Rampo's "awareness of unconsciousness" was examined. Furthermore, how Rampo brought back self-projections was examined by considering his later writing activities. The results indicated that Rampo unconsciously achieved awareness of unconsciousness during writing his unfinished paper. His subsequent writing activities were conducted based on this awareness. Especially, his paiderastia was considered to have been sublimated into "Kobayashi," a boy character in "Boys'Detective Team," which is one of Rampo's important works.

要約：本稿では、大槻憲二が主宰して いた東京精神分析学研究所が発行する『精神分析』に 1933 年に発表された江戸川乱歩の未完の論文「J · A・シモンズのひそかなる情熱」の内、第四回掲載分について検討・考察を行った。その際、上掲論文において、乱歩の「無意識の意識化」が、どの程度進んだのかを考察の出発点とし、更に、その後の乱歩の創作活動も視野に入れて、乱歩は如何に「投影の引き戻し」 を達成していったのかについて検討した。その結果、4 回にわたる未完の論文の 中で、乱歩自身、意識せずに行っていた「無意識の意識化」を指摘した上で、それが基礎になり、更に、その後の創作活動、特に少年探偵団の小林少年の中に乱歩のパイデラスティアは昇華された、と結論付けた。
