FPGAの利用あるいはVDEC等の組織の努力により, 大学においても現実的なコストで本格的な設計者教育が実践できるようになって来ました.そして, 単なるシミュレーションより, もう一つ先に進んだ実チップ化もゴールとして見えてくるようになってきました.この様な動きを受け, 大学において設計教育に関する斬新な試みがいろいろと行われるようになり, 産業界で必要とされる設計教育とのギャップが以前より小さくなって来ました.しかし, それでもまだ現状はいろいろな問題点を含んでいます.そこで, 本パネル討論では産業界で活躍できる魅力的な人材を育成するための方法について, 企業および大学で設計教育の第一線で活躍されている方々による討論を行って戴きます. / Designer education based on realistic examples are now possible in universities with a reason-able cost, with FPGA or the help of such organization as VDEC. And universities have advanced there designer education course, to fill the technology gap between the current industrial world. But the education in universities still seem to have problems. In this pannel discussion, we will have panelists who are at the forefront on educating designers, in universities and corporations, and discuss about methods to educate the attractive talented students, who are useful in the industrial world.
