本研究は上級英語学習者に対して、英語による発話を促すための授業用タスクを開発し、方略指導 (Communication Strategies)を体系的に行なう方法を構築することを目的とした。研究代表者及び分担者の担当する授業で、指導前後に発話データやアンケート調査によるデータを収集し、開発タスクの有用性や指導方法の妥当性を検証した結果、発話に伴う話者の言語処理能力が高まるとともに、学習者の発話に対する積極性や方略的操作の向上などを示す好結果が得られた。／The main purpose of this study was to produce English tasks for advanced learners to promote their speaking ability and to establish systematic strategic training instruction for such learners. Empirical oral and questionnaire data were collected before and after the classes were taught by the researchers of this study to examine the effects of the task materials produced and the validity of the strategic instruction. Main findings from the study indicate that the learners' processing ability as well as their willingness to speak and their strategic manipulation for their oral language production was significantly improved.
