近年の高速・広帯域ネットワーク環境の急速な普及により,高品質動画像のリアルタイム伝送は重要なアプリケーションの1つとなってきている.これにより,実際の動画像データを送信することなく,端末間のネットワークが要求された実効帯域や信頼性を満たしているかの診断が必要どなる場面が増えてくると考えられる.本稿では高品質動画像伝送を想定した性能評価に必要な項目について示し実際に開発・検証を行ったネットワーク性能評価ツールについて述べる. / As spreading broadband networks, real-time transmission systems of high quality moving pictures are one of important applications. Therefore, we need a diagnosis whether a network hasenough bandwidth and reliability to transmit stream data such as high quality moving pictures, without actually transmitting moving pictures. In this paper, we discuss required items for measurements in transmitting high quality moving pictures, and describe our development and verification of a network performance diagnosis tool.
