The circumstances regarding the work of teachers are becoming a national problem.Even in Hiroshima prefecture, matters such as long working hours,diversification of work tasks,increasingly complicated paperwork, etc., are becoming issues. For this essay, I surceyed and interviewed 6 primary school teachers in the City of Hiroshima, Hiroshima Pref., employed in 2011 in their first teaching position and looked into their work circumstances and relevant issues arising, and investigated the work tasks that they were required to carry out diring their long working hours.
