In this reserch we carried out investigations to try to understand the changes in frequency and conditions of usage of electronic communication deveces, the number of friends and the value of friendshios among female students due to the proliferation of CMC. We also considered the effect of the concepts of self-disclosure and self-concealment on relationships between friends and the conditions of usage of electronic communication devices. The results show that the higher the levels of self-disclosure, the more proactively individuals go and meet friends made via social networking media.
