Abstract |
The first part of this paper examined the changing roles of students and teachers in Problem Based Learning (PBL) programs and discussed the underlying theories that inform PBL programs while analysing the needs and demands of them (Walmsley 2007). In this paper, I give an account of the inaugural PBL program in English Literature at a leading Tokyo Medical Unibversity to show how certain problems unaccounted for, or unseen in theory, emerged and were solved in practice. |
