Abstract

One of the most serious challenges facing higher education today is the qualitative transformation of higher learning - from universities that teach knowledge and skills to universities that develop student's ability to think critically. Our experience with "Children Challenge Lab" initiative suggests that service learning can be an important opportunity for nursery training 4-year college students to think about their future career and to clarify their challenges.
