This study presents the use of a multimedia network system in training college students on car maintenance. A computer was connected to a”driving”car and students observed car mechanics in real－time using Net Meeting. Results showed increased interest among students，as the multimedia network system addressed their various learning styles. The use of multimedia also presented a new approach to training in this field.
