Considering the significant change of environment surrounding universities in recent years, it has become difficult for us to teach the basics of mechanical engineering by methods of conventional education. In this paper, we describe an educational improvement in mechanical drawing and CAD at Hiroshima Kokusai Gakuin University. First, we proposed a new educational objective which is suitable for present students on our campus. Further, we organized a group of teachers including the machine designers working in the company, and improved the educational content of each teacher's lecture with a common understanding of the new educational objective.

近年，大学を取り巻く環境は大きく変化し，機械工学の基本を従来の教育方法で教えることは困難になってきている。ここでは広島国際学院大学の機械製図・CAD関連科目の教育改善について報告する。はじめに，本学の学生に見合った新しい教育目標を検討した。さらに企業に勤める現役の機械技術設計者からなる教員を組織し，各教員共通の理解のもとに教育内容の改善を試みた。
