In 2009 the new Courses of Study for high school education was announced by the government. The statistics education will be drastically improved. In particular, the subject of Mathematics will start to be operated in 2012. The contents of descriptive statistics in typical textbooks “Mathematics I” compiled by five publishers are here comprehensively investigated and totally evaluated under several revised points described in the new courses of study. The author finally worries about a proper performance of statistics education through textbooks in high schools under some reason.
