Abstract

It is important to instruct persons to evacuate smoothly and hastily at the time of natural disasters in order to reduce the number of victims. We performed multi-agent simulation to clarify the difference of evacuation behaviors between with and without evacuation instruction. As a result, it was revealed that evacuation instruction is useful to promote evacuation activity especially for the persons of trailing type.
