Abstract

We have developed an energy harvesting apparatus using the drinking bird for an experimental teaching material. Some of the pendulum motion energy of the drinking bird is converted into the electric energy by electromagnetic induction. The electrical energy charged in the capacitor is available to the driving power source of the calculator.
