Abstract

The authors are conducting research to clarify the seismic performance of the frame with R-brace. In previous studies research was conducted experiments of R-brace and numerical analysis of one-story-one-bay frame. In this paper numerical analysis with multi-story-multi-bay is carried out and performance of R-brace is discuss. As a result. The performance of R-brace is restrained residual deformation when the burden is large. Furthermore, it is possible to decreased the increase of residual deformation when even if multi-earthquakes occur, and to restrain occurrence of residual deformation.
