Abstract

This paper discusses the Electric Railways Driving Support System. It is an important factor of railway services to resume the service shortly under disrupted conditions. When the train schedule falls into disorder, it is necessary to meet the train service arrangement. The problem of the train rescheduling is a class of complex optimization problem, which includes discrete and continuous variables. In this paper, we proposed an effective method for solving the train rescheduling problem using the simulated annealing approach. The proposed approach is applied to a simple test system. Simulation results show that the proposed method is effective and promising.
