This is the third issue of the series of our reports on an attempt towards a linking education through the class “Exercise in Basic Physics”. It mainly describes what the class is like. We first explain the manner of class-division based on the degree of academic achievement and then investigate the results of the placement test and the final test. By comparing these two results, we discuss the educational effect of the class. In particular, it is emphasized that the academic effect can be had on any student having, at least, the academic ability of science and mathematics at the junior high school level.
