Abstract

Actual experience and feeling are very important for better understanding of classroom lecture. The author is in charge of one theme in the experimental practice course carried out for the third year student. The theme is human-power measurement by rope tagging. This theme is developed to make students feel directly the dynamics for correct understanding of the phenomenon. Furthermore, this theme is also aimed to make students understanding the energy problem. Experimental equipment and procedure are designed that students can proceed by their own initiative. In this thesis, details of experimental equipment and procedure are firstly explained and results of implementation including students’ impression are described.
