A clear purpose is necessary for university students to continue learning. This paper aims to
reduce dropouts at universities. First, understand the situation of dropouts, the impact on university
management, measures at various universities, and studentsʼ lives. Then, with reference to the
motivational theory, motivational means of learning were examined. As a result, it was concluded
that it would be quite effective for students to carry out “MBO: Management by Objective”, where
they set their future professions as “DREAMS” and register their goals for each semester.
