In order to evaluate fundamental dynamic properties of wooden framed structures，dynamic and static loading tests were conducted using one bay-one story structures. A database on wooden residential building was summarized taking notice of construction method，total floor area，weight，natural period and damping factor. In the dynamic loading test，shaking table tests had been done and a damage state was quantitatively evaluated，based on difference of natural frequencies and response magnifications before and after earthquake-like excitations. In the static loading test，restoring-force characteristics of each test specimen of the same type used in the dynamic loading test were examined and the restoring-force models combined with the Masing type nonlinear model and the slip type model were developed.
