The aim of this report is to describe the traces of the restoration project of the NERIHEI-wall in
IWAISHIMA-village.
The main contents are as follows: 1.the summary of the study on IWAISHIMA-village. (From
the study on the village to the restoration project of the NERIHEI-wall.) 2. the traces of the
restoration project of the NERIHEI-wall. (From the restoration project of the NERIHEI-wall to the
preservation of the village.) 3. the expansion to the preservation of the village.
The restoration project of the NERIHEI-wall has played an important part in the preservation of
the village.
