Recently, satoyama, which used to be a place to supply daily necessities goods, has become less and less important everyday for our lives. On the other hand, attention is being paid to environmental education, and the main focus is on satoyama. Therefore this study shows the possibility of environmental education by teaching the mystery of a plant called kakuremino, which is an example of educational materials founds in satoyama.
