Abstract

A Q-component interpolation method using the quad-frequency sampling technique for an OFDM signal demodulation was investigated on a theoretical basis. The authors proposed a novel criterion named “Q-component amplitude modulation coefficient,” which is a powerful tool for determination of optimal interpolation coefficients. The coefficient values in cases of two-point and four-point interpolation were estimated.
