This paper deals with experiments of counter-public spheres during post-war Japan. The counter-public spheres are constructed by so-called subaltern people. The magazine "Circle Village" tried to organize the communication between subaltern people by language and to form a counter-public sphere by language. But in Taisho mine struggle Gan Tanigawa, a leader of "Circle Village" tried to organize miners not by language but by appealing to traditional behabior patterns and to form a counter-public sphere by people's habitus.
