Piled-raft is the method which began to notice for the purpose of reducing settlement and differential settlement recently,though it is known since a past. In this report, comparison examination between raft and friction pile was carried out by the convenient calculation, and the effect and application were examined. In addition, future utilization is expected the piled-raft, because the effect of reinforcement of the weak stratum near ground surface and strengthening of the horizontal resistance force can be also expected.
