保健福祉職をめざす大学生を対象にコミュニケーションの基礎を学ぶための2つの講座を実施し，講座前後に行なった質問紙により講座の効果を検討した。交流分析を用いて自己に対する理解を深めることを主な目的とした講座では自己概念，身体的ストレス反応，精神的・情緒的・社会的健康度，コーピングに，また，アサーション・トレーニングにもとづいて対人コミュニケーションに対する理解を深めることを主な目的とした講座では相互作用不安，特性的自己効力感，アサーションに有意な改善が認められた。これらの講座は，学生が保健福祉分野の専門職として必要なコミュニケーションについて学ぶための基盤づくりを支援する方法のひとつとして有効だと考えられる。

Two kinds of communication skills workshops for healthcare university students were conducted, and the efficacy of the workshops was examined by means of several psychological questionnaires. One of the workshops was aimed at helping students' self-understanding, using the theory of transactional analysis, and improvement was observed on such scales as self-concept, physical stress reaction, mental-emotional-social health, and coping. The other workshop was intended to help students understand interpersonal communication by learning assertive behaviors, and after the workshop students' scores in interaction anxiousness, generalized self-efficacy, and assertiveness were enhanced. It can be concluded that these workshops are effective in helping students acquire fundamental abilities which are essential to learn professional communication skills.
