学生が, 専門科目に関してレポートや卒業論文を作成するときには, さまざまな学術資料を検索する。その場合, 和雑誌に掲載された論文の検索には医学中央雑誌 Web のデータベース利用が主となっているが, 本学ではその利用頻度の高さと契約口数の少なさから, 利用が集中した場合には検索が行えないこともある。また, 卒後の教育を考えたとき, 医学中央雑誌 Web のデータベース利用は限られた施設でのみ可能である。これらのことから, 学生の在学時および卒後の学習や研究を支えるため, 試験的に理学療法及び作業療法に関わる文献検索システムの構築を試みた。本領域の学術・商業雑誌計6誌の書誌情報をデータベース化し, 学内LANから Web ブラウザにより, サーバ上のデータベースにアクセスして文献検索ができるようにした。検索条件には学術論文の場合はキーワード, 見出し, 表題, 著者, 発行年, 巻, 号を用いた。本システムは, 現在は学内LANからのアクセスに限られているが学外からの利用もできるよう構築されているため, 今後は公開利用の可能性を模索したい。

The puropose of this study was to develop a reference search system in physical and occupational therapy education. In our college, many students use the Igaku Chuou Zasshi Web to search references for making their reports or graduation theses. However, as there are only two IDs to access, they often can not use the system. Moreover, for their continuing education, most of them cannot use the system personally because of its expensive access charge. Therefore, we tried to construct an experimental reference search system in the physical and occupational therapy fields. We made a database from the six academic and commercial journals in Japanese of physical and occupational therapy, which our students could access through a Web browser through the LAN system of our college. As the system was constructed to be accessed from outside the college, we must solve some problems to actualize it.
